November 28th marks #GivingTuesday, a global movement inspiring generosity and change. This year, at Adeara, our goal is to raise $10,000 for the women and children at Adeara and we are excited to share that a generous and anonymous donor has pledged to match the first $5,000 we raise on Giving Tuesday.
That means your donation of $10, $50 or $100 will become $20, $100 or $200 (respectively) towards the women in recovery at Adeara. What an impact we can make when we work together!!
Research indicates that humans require their physical needs to be fulfilled before they can function at their best and, consequently, find motivation for recovery.
When a woman has a safe place to sleep and access to food, water and hygiene, the greater the chance she will trust and be encouraged to seek healing and restoration.
Since addiction impacts every part of a person’s life, our program is designed to bring healing and restoration to all areas of a person’s life – bio/psycho/social/spiritual.
Your support this Giving Tuesday can provide that safe place for a woman and her child to call home so that she can establish new tools, boundaries and habits that will rebuild her home and family.
At Adeara, we believe everyone is worthy of a safe place to call home.
If you’re in a place to give this giving season, we ask that you mark November 28th on your calendar and support us for whatever amount is on your heart. From $5 to $5,000, every act of giving is a blessing to the women and children in this centre.
