Evening of Dreams FAQ
What is the dress code?
The Evening of Dreams is a semi-formal event. Some guidelines of semi-formal attire that are certainly not rules:
- Men: A suit, dress shirt, and tie. Vests are optional, as well as ties. One may finish the look with dress socks to match the color of the pants and leather dress shoes.
- Women: Short or tea-length dresses, elegant little black dresses, evening pants or dressy skirt outfits with elegant yet subtle jewelry.
Do I need to show a ticket at the event?
Due to a software issue, we will be providing an in-person check in, no tickets needed. Our volunteer team will check you in at the door.
Is there a seating plan?
There will be a designated table for each guest at the event. Your table number will be given to you as you arrive. Seats at the tables are not designated.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! Please email juli@adeara.ca ASAP regarding your dietary restrictions or allergies.
How long is the event program?
Doors open at 5 PM, and dinner will begin at 6 PM. Programming will begin promptly after dinner until 9 PM.
Will there be an auction?
There will be a silent auction, bucket draw and live auction with some pretty incredible items, thanks to our amazing Edmonton community! The silent auction will be released online 2 weeks before the event for preliminary bidding.
How do I bid in the online silent auction?
We are very excited to share our online silent auction with you! Please check your emails for an invitation to our silent auction 2 weeks before the Evening of Dreams.
