Have Your Gift Matched This Giving Tuesday

November 30th is Giving Tuesday, a day of generosity celebrated across Canada. At Adeara, we’re participating by launching a gift matching program where several generous and anonymous donors have pledged to match the first $30,000 we raise on Giving Tuesday. That’s triple what we raised last year!
With your help, we can potentially raise over $60,000 for our centre. During the last two years, we’ve been blessed with financial supports such as governmental grants or individual pledges to help keep our program running. But we still need your help. Because of COVID, we’ve seen our largest fundraisers of the year cancelled several times, and in more fortunate situations, postponed or transitioned to virtual. Even through our creative adaptations of our signature events, Adeara has felt the loss.
We are so fortunate to be where we are today. You, our community of support, have kept us going. So on Giving Tuesday, we want to give you the chance to have your donation go even further. Every donation that is made through our Giving Tuesday campaign will be matched, up to $30,000 total. That means your donation of $10, $50 or $100 will become $20, $100 or $200 (respectively) towards the women in recovery at Adeara. What an impact we can make when we work together!!
If you’re in a place to give this giving season, we ask that you mark November 30th on your calendar and support us for whatever amount is on your heart. From $5 to $5,000, every act of giving is a blessing to the women and children in this centre.
